Trailblaze Solutions LLC d/b/a Trailblaze Data wants everyone to be able to use trailblazedata.com, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, voice control, magnification, or a reduced-motion preference.
This statement sets out the standard we are working to, what we know works today, what we know does not, and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.
1. The Standard We Aim For
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We assess this website as partially conformant: most of it meets that standard, and the exceptions we know about are listed in section 3.
We treat WCAG 2.2 AA as the working target for new work, so a new page or component is expected to meet it before it ships rather than being retrofitted afterwards.
2. What We Have Built In
- Keyboard access. Navigation, the pricing toggle, the five stage process rail, the accordions, the demo request dialog, and every form can be operated from the keyboard, and focus is visible as it moves.
- Works without JavaScript. Content is present in the HTML and readable before any script runs. The stage panels ship expanded and are only collapsed once JavaScript loads, forms fall back to a plain submission, and the demo request link is a real link to a real page.
- Semantic structure. Pages use landmarks, a single main heading, and a nested heading order, so a screen reader can jump between sections rather than reading linearly.
- Labelled controls. Every form field has a visible, associated label, and status messages are announced through a live region rather than only appearing visually.
- Images and icons. Meaningful images carry alternative text; decorative marks and arrows are hidden from assistive technology so they are not read aloud.
- Colour and contrast. Body text, headings, and interactive controls are checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratios, and colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Responsive and zoomable. Layouts reflow to a single column on small screens and support zoom to 200% without loss of content or function. Below 900px the stage rail becomes an accordion so each panel sits under its own control.
- Reduced motion. Scroll reveals and transitions are suppressed when your system requests reduced motion.
3. Known Limitations
We would rather name these than imply the site is flawless.

4. How We Test
We test with keyboard-only navigation, with screen readers on desktop and mobile, at 200% zoom and with browser text scaling, with automated checks for contrast and markup errors, and with the reduced-motion preference enabled. Automated checks catch only part of the picture, so manual testing is the part we rely on.
